Our Mission

Project Inclusion has a mission to expand its wings within the country and outside. To bridge the gap between the state resource teachers and school teachers and implement the Individual Educational Plan (IEP) in the education system in response to the case studies of the children who face Learning Difficulties.

Mr. Sambhrant Sharma is the Director Education, Sri Aurobindo Society and founder of ‘Rupantar', India’s largest education transformation and teacher-first social innovation platform, spread across 31 States and Union Territories of India; creating a network of more than 2 million trained teachers and thousands of education officers for bringing qualitative improvement in education via various initiatives.

Dr Simmi Mahajan

CHRO & Head, Project Inclusion, Rupantar, Sri Aurobindo Society


Dr Simmi Mahajan has been contributing to the health and education industry for over 30 years. She's experienced in Health Education, Mental health training, and provide counselling for parents and teachers. With expertise in human resources management and fostering leadership, Dr Mahajan strives to develop responsible workforces with a noble aim. Among the many initiatives of SAS' Rupantar, Dr Simmi Mahajan heads the Project Inclusion, which aims to empower school teachers all over the country to identify and support children with Learning Difficulties. Under the leadership and guidance of Dr. Mahajan, The project is actively working across 14 states and Union Territories and has trained over 20,000 teachers and special educators.
