Project Inclusion

About Us

Mother’s Grace are part of Project Inclusion by Sri Aurobindo Society-Rupantar. Our centres are integrated child development hubs – designed to support your child better with diverse learning and developmental needs.

At Mother’s Grace, everything is connected—assessment, therapy, learning support, and parent guidance. So that interventions are tailored to your child, not some label.

By linking therapeutic support with classroom readiness and teacher capacity building, Mother’s Grace enables true inclusion in mainstream schools. Our centres also serve as resource hubs for parents, educators, and institutions. Ultimately, they form the backbone of scalable, system-wide inclusive education in India.

Frequently Asked Questions by Parents

About Your Child

My child is struggling. Can you help?

Yes. If your child is slow to talk, finding school hard, behaving in ways that worry you, or not growing the way you expected, we are here for you. We work with children from birth to 16 years.

Can you tell me what my child needs help with?

We will do a full check of your child first. Our trained specialists will look at how your child thinks, learns, behaves, and develops. After that, we will sit with you and explain everything in simple terms. If you need an official medical certificate, we will tell you exactly where to go and how to get it.

How do you decide what help my child needs?

We first understand your child properly before deciding anything. Only after that do we decide what kind of support will help. Every child gets a different plan, because every child is different.

What Help Is Available

What kind of help do you give children?

We help children with speaking and communication, movement and physical skills, learning and school work, behaviour, and daily life skills. We also support children who need extra help with reading, writing, or sitting still in class. Everything is available here in one place so you do not need to go to different clinics.

Do you have programmes for very young children?

Yes. For babies and toddlers up to 2 years, we start support early because the earlier we help, the better the results. For children aged 2 to 8, we have a programme that gets them ready for school.

Does my child have to come to the centre every time?

No. Some sessions happen here at the centre. Some can happen online from your home. We will figure out what works best for your child and for your family.

How often does my child need to come?

It depends on your child's needs. After the first assessment, our team will tell you how many sessions are needed and how often. We will explain the reason clearly.

Can I be in the room during the session?

Sometimes yes, sometimes it is better for the child if the parent waits outside. We will always explain why and what is best for your child.

How will I know if my child is getting better?

We check your child's progress every few weeks and share clear updates with you. If something is not working, we change the plan right away. You will always know what is happening.

Your Role at Home

What do I need to do as a parent?

What you do at home matters a lot. After each session, we will give you simple activities to do with your child at home. These are easy to follow and fit into your daily routine. The more you do at home, the faster your child will improve.

What to Expect

How long will it take to see improvement?

Some parents see changes in a few weeks. For others, it takes more time. Every child moves at their own pace. We will be honest with you at every step about how your child is doing.

Will my child be able to live independently in the future?

Our goal is to help your child live a better, more independent life. Some children improve a lot. Others improve slowly but steadily. We will never make false promises, but we will always do our best and keep you informed.

What if my child is not improving at all?

We review the plan regularly and make changes as soon as something is not working.

School and Regular Life

Will my child ever go to a normal school?

That is what we work towards for every child. We prepare your child step by step. We also work with regular schools and teachers to help them welcome children who need extra support.

Can you talk to my child's school?

Yes. If needed, we can talk to your child’s school and coordinate with teachers so your child gets consistent support.

Things Parents Worry About

Will my child need medicine?

No. We do not provide any medicines. Our focus is only on therapy and skill-building. If a doctor recommends medicine, that decision will be between you and your doctor.

Why can't my child read, write, or sit still?

There is usually a clear reason for this. It could be how the brain processes things, how the body moves, or how the child focuses. We find the real reason first, then we address it properly.

Did I do something wrong? Is this my fault?

No. This is not your fault. These challenges happen for many different reasons. Coming here and asking for help is already the best thing you can do for your child.

Will my child grow up and live on their own?

With the right support, most children grow into much more independent adults. We work on this from the very beginning.

Can you help me get a disability card or certificate for my child?

Yes. We help parents with the paperwork. This includes the UDID card and Aadhaar card for your child. You do not have to do this alone, we will guide you through it.

Visiting the Centre

How long is each session?

Most sessions are 30 to 45 minutes long.

When is the centre open?

Monday to Saturday. We will share the exact timings when you join.

How do I get started?

Just call us at 9211711440. We will book a time for your child's first assessment. That one call is all it takes to begin.

Will I have to wait a long time for an appointment?

It depends on how many spots are currently open. We will give you a clear answer when you call.

Cost and Fees

How much does it cost?

The cost depends on what your child needs and how often they come. We will explain everything clearly before you decide anything. There are no hidden charges.

You are an NGO. Why do you charge money?

Running a centre with trained specialists, proper equipment, and good facilities costs money. The fees we collect help us keep the quality high. Some of that money also goes towards helping children from families who cannot afford to pay. We believe every child deserves good care, no matter their economic background.

How long will my child need to keep coming?

It depends on your child’s progress. We review this regularly and will always be open with you about how long your child may need support.

Why Choose Mother's Grace Centre

What makes you different from other centres?

Many families come to us after going to multiple places and getting confused by different opinions. Here, all your child's specialists - the speech therapist, the movement therapist, the special teacher, the psychologist, all work together as one team. They talk to each other and follow one shared plan for your child. This makes a big difference.

Are your staff properly trained?

Yes. All our team members are trained in their area. Most are certified by the Rehabilitation Council of India, which is the official government body for therapy professionals in India.

Do you use computers or technology?

Yes, where it helps. Some of our tests and therapy programmes are technology-based and match international standards. We use it because it works and has shown significant results.
